Aamira Wants Specialization in Medicine

Pakistani Girl Aamira Wants Specialization in Medicine from United States

Aamira Pakistani Muslim babe, doing doctorate in United States. She as her brother and elder sister has aim to specialization in medicine. Her father is a well settled business man and full support her children to catch the goals. Aamira is in confusion and wants to share with this blog reader about her aim. She says I'd like to take this opportunity to explain just how screwed our primary care medical system (and by connection, everyone who needs or will need a primary care physician) will be if we don't change a few things in the next 10 years.

I don't mean the problems with health insurance coverage. I mean the impending demise of primary care i.e. family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, and psychiatry. Those fields that would normally form the core of medical care in this country are being threatened by reimbursement rates so low that a 2008 survey of medical students found that only 2% are planning to enter into primary care!

Jothi in High Speed Bullet Train

NRI Jothi in High Speed Bullet Train, Indian Girls

NRI Jothi is our new contributor; she loves to travel in built trains. This picture is also capture in subject train by her sister. She compare high speed trains vs old traditional train in these words that one of the problems with our Mass Transit System in the United States is its inability to interconnect with other regional and metro systems. A more cohesive plan is needed and Amtrak isn't the answer. We need more rider-ship, lower costs and greater economies of scale, which must be based on reality, not pet project politics.

One way to save money is to spend more in the technological capital constructing of these projects and stack the deck with the highest of high tech. For instance the use of pilot-less trains is one innovation being looked at. High Speed Trains have a great advantage over short distances over standing in line boarding a plane and getting off a plane and finding a cab, shuttle or picking up a higher priced rent-a-car (supply and demand issues with decreased air travel).

For those not wishing to fly for fear of flying, they may wish to travel up to 1500 miles or more by bullet train. The length of California on the 5 Freeway is about 1000 miles (try that in a truck at 55 mph?), similar to the width of Texas.

Indian Ashu Food Safety Tips For Picnic

Indian Girl Ashu Food Safety Tips For Picnic

Ashu belongs to India but recently settled with her family in UK. Ashu writes she loves to attend parties especially night and picnic. She is here to make friends online from every where and she share lines that planning a picnic? Then you’ll want to take a minute to brush up on picnic food safety tips. When air temperatures rise above 45 degree Fahrenheit, protein-based foods can become a breeding ground for bacteria. Unless you want to serve food poisoning at your outdoor gathering, it’s best to keep the following food safety tips in mind.

1. Make sure to transport food in the proper containers. While non-perishable food can be easily packed in a brown paper bag or cardboard box, foods such as meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy products, mayonnaise or creamy dressings are very perishable and should be packed in an insulated cooler with ice packs to keep food below 45º F.

2. Always wash your hands thoroughly before you begin cooking, and again after touching raw meat, fish, or chicken.

3. Don’t cross-contaminate by cutting vegetables or other ready-to-eat foods on the same cutting board as chicken or meat. The knife and the cutting board should be thoroughly cleaned in between uses.

4. Cook all food thoroughly. It’s better to cook meat and poultry all the way through than to partially cook it and finish cooking it later.

5. Keep hot foods hot and cold foods cold. Grilled meat or chicken should be kept at 140º F or warmer until serving. Cold foods should be kept in the insulated cooler and the cooler itself should be shaded if possible.

6. Mind the leftovers. All uneaten food should be refrigerated as soon as possible.
