Shriya Saran is an Indian film actress. Shriya Saran is an award-winning Tamil film actress. Her acting career had a modest beginning, starting with music videos and acting studios. She has since graced the Tamil film industry with her talent. She has signed on in various movie deals with Bollywood, Kollywood, and even Hollywood.

Saran mostly graces the stage as a leading heroine in high-budget and major films. From romantic comedies, to drama, to science fiction, to action, she has set foot into just about every genre she can get her hands on. All this in only 9 years of acting!

Shriya Saran was born on September 11, 1982 in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India. She was born to Pushpendra Saran and Neeraja Saran. She completed her schooling in Delhi Public School, Haridwar. She completed her graduation in B.A. from Lady Shri Ram College. Her very first Tamil film was Enakku 20 Unakku 18, a musical hit and general box-office success. Shriya Saran also modeled for fashion designer Neeta lulla at the Chennai International Fashion Week in 2009.
