She worked for Bond's enemy, but when her employer took away her powers of predicting the future - she joined Bond. Naturally the union was validated in Bond's favorite place...bed. Most fans of Bond movies don't rate her Solitaire's creation very high, but usually agree that the role was charming. There was a rumor, that the current Bond - Daniel Craig - is a big fan of Jane. Apparently, he wanted Jane Seymour to be his costar in the latest Bond movie; she wasn't interested.   No. 6 - Charming Gemma...For 22 years old Gemma Arterton, the role in this Bond movie was her first bigger test in Hollywood. (she is English). She is one of three beautiful ladies co-starring with Daniel Craig in this newest adventure. Beside her, there is Olga Kurylenko from Ukraine and Stana Katic from Bosnia, however Gemma - the agent Field - is considered to be the sexiest. It also looks like she got the most out of playing Gemma. She became the face of perfume "Avon Bond Girl 007" and will play Tamina in a potential hit - "Prince Of Persia: The Sands of Time", scheduled for release on 28 May 2010 (USA). The movie, directed by Mike Newell, based on the video game, plus Jake Gyllenhaal and Ben Kingsley as her costars, may catapult Gemma Arterton to stardom.   No.5 - Sentimental Teri...The great beauty and star of "Housewives" - Terri Hatcher had only a few on-screen minutes in this movie.She plays Paris, a former Bond's romantic conquest and a current wife of a crazed power hungry media mogul - Elliot Carver. She still carries flame for 007 and as soon as he appears back in her life, the romance flourishes. The scorned husband has her killed and that's it... Even if Terri crosses the screen as a passing comet, it is impossible not to notice her charm, style and beauty.... Maybe her part was cut a bit short because of her pregnancy which occurred early on during filming of this movie.   No. 4 - Vengeful Sophie...Sophie Marceau is the most original actress to play Bond girl - a very different kind of Bond girl! Electra King's, half Iranian (Azerbaijani) from her mother's side and the daughter of a recently assassinated oil tycoon, maxim was: "There's no point living, if you can't feel alive." The director made her to create a remarkable femme fatale character. She did it in spades. One of the reviews said: Sophie Marceau offers a fantastic villainies and puts herself in one line with Chris Walken, Robert Davi and Klaus Maria Brandauer.   No. 3 - Slavic Izabella...Hadn't she won the part in GoldenEye, Izabella probably wouldn't be known in Hollywood. Prior to playing Natalya Simonova, she launched a career as a pop singer with her first single - "Substitute". After her Bond's adventure with Pierce Brosnan, she stayed in Hollywood and appeared with Matthew McConaughey in "Reign of Fire" and in a forgettable horror flick "Exorcist: The Beginning." In none of her latest movies she was as sexy and appealing as she was in the GoldenEye.   No. 2 - Indifferent Ursula...Ursula Andress - the original Bond girl. It is hard to imagine, but it was 47 years ago when Ursula, as Honey Ryder in James Bond debut - Dr. No - emerges from the sea wearing this famed white bikini, and sets the standards for future Bond girls. Thanks to her on-screen smoldering indifference, immediately she became one of the most desired women in the world, and that continues to this day. In February 2008 she was voted "Best Bond Girl of All Time" by the readers of Daily Mail (British newspaper). October 2008 online pool named her "Sexiest Bond Girl", leaving Halle Berry in the 2nd place.   The first scene participating Halle, which is a spectacular 'rising from the waves', is rumored to be a tribute to Bond's fans on series's fortieth anniversary where Ursula, wearing a similar outfit was rising from the sea. After seeing Ursula in 'Dr. No' it was hard to imagine possibility of seeing any actress doing this 'sea rising' any more alluring. But looking at Halle it is no wonder she won the Esquire's title of the sexiest women on the planet. Well, in my ranking she is the ultimate Bond girl.
